Filming

We are at the moment planning to film Scene 11 sometime next week after sixth form. However, we still need to decide a date which fits into both of the actors’ schedule for the scene. Also, over the period of our Christmas holidays we are planning to film Scenes 13 and 15 and early January Scene 21 but we still have a lot of planning to do and to confirm this with our actors.

Thought Board

Here is our thought board where we  looked into many newspapers and magazines for words and images for which can represent our film on what it is about and how we would like our film to be perceived. So if anyone did see this board they would get an idea of what the film is about and what happens in the film.

Animatic

Here is our animatic. I think that we have done a good job for it and is a vision of what I have for our film. However, the music we have used for the animatic is called ‘Run’ by Steven Fretwell which is copyrighted and we understand that we won’t be able to use it for our film so we will use our own version of it using the same kind of style but adding and doing some modifications making it our own. So another influence for us aswell as ‘Sliding Doors’ is Steven Fretwell’s ‘Run’ which are both influecing to how our film will be.

Chances Final 2

We had to make a few changes to the script as Stevie who plays Amy in our film has changed her hair even though we begged her not to. So we had two choices to either refilm everything with her new hair which also means we would have to re-edit the great footage we have so far or what we have decided to do is make changes to the script.

As the footage we have at the moment is in the middle of the film we changed the beginning of the film so that her hair is covered with a towel. Have also changed that when she gets back to her house she fiddles with her hair by the mirror and wears new clothes to represent her new identity as she wants a new change or start at this art university and is a way of her moving on.

Edit

We have done all the editing we can do at the moment and need to do more filming so that we can do more editing.  Matt has edited scene 12, I have edited scene 14 and half of scene 16 and matt has edited the other half of scene 16.

We are just waiting for the weather to change so that we can carry on filming as it has been raining all week.

We have only made small changes to it to make Nell more feminine because we changed the character from Neil to Nell.

Filming

First off we had changed the characters to fit with the cast as we now have a female actor to play from Neil to Nell and so therefore we had to make a few changes to the script aswell which I will send in later.

Also, due to weather problems we had only been able to film one day of filming so far which are the Crow Farm Shop scenes, Crow Lane scenes and local house scene. Altogether it went well and we got the shots we needed except I missed the Crow Farm Shop scene because of a misuderstanding.

Another problem we are facing at the moment is that we can’t get our footage out of the camera due to a problem with the card so we are trying to figure out how to fix the problem. Either that or we may have to refilm the scenes again.

So to get pass these problems we are rescheduling everything and are going to leave the scenes we have already done last incase we fix the problem before then.
